Think About It

One of the things I have done differently this year is to use a tablet for my sermon notes rather than printing them out on paper.  I am not a die-hard “tree hugger”, but I do believe that I can do my part to save some trees and landfill space for the next generation.  That sounds pretty noble, doesn’t it?  Well, it’s all good until someone forgets to plug in the electronic device!  As I was preparing to preach last Sunday morning, I realized my device was a bit low on battery.  I might have had enough to get me through the sermon, but I wasn’t sure.  So, as we were preparing for the worship I started charging my tablet, but it wasn’t making enough progress fast enough.  So, then I thought about using another device that had more a of a charge – to do that I had to download the file.  So, what about printing out a paper copy … well that would take time.  So, what about … Folks I have to admit that by the time I got up to preach my brain was r...
