Can you prove to me that the Bible is true?   While I understand there are historical facts that affirm certain claims made by the Bible, there are many more aspects of the Sacred Word of God that must stand on their own.   Okay, now let me ask you another question:   do we need to prove that the Bible is true?   If so, why?   The other day I read a quote that reminded me of the value of what spiritual people call “faith”.   The observation noted, “Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable, and receives the impossible.”.   Now doesn’t that sound like what it takes to accept the Bible at face value?   We were not around when the historical events covered in the Bible took place.   There are many aspects of life that occur in spaces we cannot comprehend.   We are called upon to accept things like a virgin birth, an unseeable Godhead and resurrections from the dead.   On our human plain, these things just can’t happen – but w...
