Tuesday; October 30

          We are living in a wrecked world.   If you have heard me speak or read much of my writing, hopefully you realize that I try to be positive, but it is becoming more difficult.   Yes, in the past I have questioned the “sky is falling, the sky is falling” mentality, but it is getting more and more difficult to stay optimistic.   Yes, I believe the plethora of information sources tends to inflate the bad news, but it is obvious that we have problems.             Now, having painted a rather dim picture, here is my question – what are we going to do about it?   Maybe more pointedly what are you going to do about it?   What am I going to do about it?   It is easy to feel overwhelmed ... it is simple to try to distance ourselves from it and say, “It’s not my problem”, but neither one of these is productive.   Sitting on the sidelines in the battle for our communities and our society doesn’t cut it!   There is a philosophy that states that he easiest way for evil to be successful
