Think About It

Now that we have made it through the first few rounds of the NCAA tournaments, which was your favorite upset? I have to admit that I am not the biggest fan of college basketball, but what’s not to like about March Madness. Between the Men’s and Women’s brackets there are dozens of games with upset potential. However, while those of us on the outside might not have seen it coming, those underdogs believed that they could pull off the victories. Without confidence, there is no need to play the game; so when those lower ranked teams accepted the bids to the tournament, they believed they could be victorious. Do we believe in ourselves? I realize there is a difference between arrogance and confidence, but have we convinced ourselves that we shouldn’t have either? Have we decided that even though we got invited to participate in this game we call “life”, we have no chance at being successful? Are we making ourselves miserable just by accepting the role of being a victim of anyone
