Are you a good loser? Well, that might be a tough place to start, so let me give you an easier one – are you a good winner? Come to think of it, that might not be much of a better question. I guess the bottom line is are you a good participant? In other words when you take part in something do you find enjoyment in it? Now, the reason that I ask this question has a secondary application. You see, if you are a good participant – win or lose – you are going to have a more enjoyable time; but, the truth of the matter is so will everyone around you! Being a good player can help you find peace in your life, but that also spills over into a compatibility with others. Interestingly, I’m not just talking about petty games. This mindset carries over into being a pleasant co-worker, spouse, parent, child, volunteer … and so many other endeavors. Let’s find the ability to be pleasant in our interactions. Not only will it make our lives run more smoothly, it will also help those around
