The other day Jeane and I were talking about some of the challenges people were facing today and she made a statement that really struck me.   In describing the need to be busy she said, “Activity begets action” ... in other words, before we can make a difference, we have to do something.   We can’t just wish something would happen, we can’t just plan on doing something about something; if we are going to make a difference it begins by doing something.   Only when we begin being active, will any action take place. I don’t know about you, but I have found it easy to fall into the rut of complacency – not just in my daily exercise routine, but in every aspect of my life.   Being encouraged to stay home can lead us into believing that we are doing the world a favor by doing nothing.   It is easy to confuse the terms “physical distancing” with “social distancing” and believe that we have an excuse to just float along.   Not only does this create an immediate problem of inactivity, the l
