What are you afraid of? Notice that I didn’t say “who” are you afraid of because we live in a time and place where living in fear of people is probably not as great a concern. Sure, there are some people who fear certain individuals, but most of us live with the confidence that either we can protect ourselves or the government can protect us. However, when it comes to other things, most of us have fears. Whether it is health issues, employment, emotional challenges or something else that doesn’t exist in flesh and blood, most of us have our phobias. The problem with this is that when we fear things like this, we’ll probably never be able to “defeat” them. We may learn to live with them, but an unequivocal conquering might not be possible.
