There has been a lot of talk over the past couple of years about the use of personal protective equipment. Even before vaccines were available, PPE such as masks were touted as being the best way to stay healthy. Individually, we might not be able to solve the COVID issue, but we could do something to protect our own personal health. Interestingly, personal protection is not something that started it the 21st Century. When the Apostle Paul encouraged the early Christians, he told them, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.” (Ephesians 6:10-11). He went on to describe how truth, righteousness, faith, salvation and the Word of God can protect us from the world and its ruler. No, we might not be a single person army that can defeat satan and his minions, but by putting on the whole armor of God, we can stay safe – and maybe even strike a blow for righte
