Are you the cream of your social crop? In other words, are you the best example; most spiritually developed; most morally devout person in your group? While it might be tempting to see this this as being a positive, is it really? Sure, being the shining star might help others, but what does it do for us? Now, please hear me out – I am not advocating that we should lower to standards to match those of our friends, what I am saying is that it might be time to get better friends. Warren Buffet made an interesting point when he noted, “ It's better to hang out with people better than you.
