I have been trying to eat better and get more exercise lately. Several months ago, I got tired of being tired, so I made the decision to make an adjustment in my lifestyle. While I haven’t reached my goals, I am closer than I was in June. Interestingly, I have noticed a couple of things. First, my clothes fit better; but maybe more importantly, I don’t have as many of the internal issues I had. My bouts with heartburn have all but disappeared. I don’t wake up suffering from what I felt were “sugar hangovers”. I have found that the cravings I used to feel are fewer and father between just by simply eating better. I have known this all along, but when it comes to health, I can be my worst influence or my best advocate. I am probably not telling you anything you don’t already know – but are we as aware of this in our emotional wellbeing as we are in our physical lives?
